On the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Wagner (Leipzig, 1813 - Venice, 1883), which occurs in 2013 , the exhibition Wagner 1813 -2013 e il Conservatorio di Venezia will take place at Palazzo Pisani, (Portego first floor) in Venice, where Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music is housed. The exhibition is the result of the study and researchs on Wagner’s presence in the academic and musical life of the Conservatory.
The celebration of the bicentenary of Wagner will be completed by thematic concerts and conferences that will take place at Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music.
