The group of works from the “Adele Fornoni Bisacco collection” constitutes one of the most important series in the Lace Museum.

It contains 50 examples of lace showing different types of technique and decoration, recovered and conserved with skill and love during the life of the aristocratic Adele Fornoni Bisacco Palazzi (1869 – 1968), a Venetian by adoption.

I The precious articles make it possible to reconstruct the general outline of the history of this antique and extraordinary art and, through fine examples from every every corner of Europe, to describe the various chronological developments of lace in a coherent manner.
